SOTECHousingHaramous, Djibouti

More than one thousand homes with their roads, drainage and utility networks across the Haramous Village, First Village and Corniche developments.
Haramous, east of Djibouti City, grew from open coastal land into one of the capital's main residential districts. Working with Louthah Group of the UAE and Residence Le Lagon Bleu, SOTEC helped build more than one thousand homes across the Haramous Village, First Village and Corniche developments.
Housing at this scale is as much infrastructure as it is building. Each phase began with earthworks and platform preparation, followed by the reinforced-concrete houses themselves and the internal roads, drainage and utility networks that turn a plot of houses into a neighbourhood.
Projects marked SOTEC include work by SOTEC and by its founder before the company was registered in 2012.
