Five hundred social housing units built and handed over under a national affordable-housing programme.

About the project

The Gargaar programme provided affordable homes for families in Djibouti. SOTEC built and handed over five hundred social housing units, together with the site infrastructure and access roads that connect the new homes to the city.

Repetition at this scale rewards discipline. Standardised foundations, block work from our own machines and a steady programme of crews moving from house to house kept quality consistent across the whole estate.
