Drainage and artificial turf for two stadiums

Artificial turf in a hot, dry climate only performs if what lies beneath it is right. SOTEC installed the drainage systems and artificial playing surfaces for two of the largest football stadiums in Djibouti.

The work started below the pitch: sub-surface drainage, graded base layers and precise levelling, then the professional installation of the turf system itself. The result is a surface that drains after rare heavy rain and plays consistently through the year.
